I've always enjoyed your site. I was wondering when you might be publishing your 2007 season analysis? Thanks!

I appreciate your comment! I'm always looking to add more information to the site. Do you have any "banquet" programs or other stat information that might be of interest? If so, it would be terrific if you could scan it and send to Hartdad@hartdad.com

HartDad,

Quick correction (I think) for your record books. I believe that Delano had his "super game" against Antelope Valley, not Thousand Oaks.

Delano had only about 130 yards rushing against AV last season. He also had some big return yards. He did not play an entire half.

Against TO in the first round of the playoffs he had over 270 yards.

You can compare my stats with maxpreps.com. I generally just write it up and post them so they will usually differ somewhat from maxpreps which are submitted by the Hart coaching staff (I believe) after they have reviewed the films.

thanks for the great webb site Hart Dad.I believe I have the answers to the 1974 football season. The 1973 season was the last season we played at hart high football stadium. I have a 1974 'Football Directory', as I think you have been looking for. The game on Oct. 4-1974 was at COC.The game on Oct. 11-1974, was at Burroughs(Burbank). The game on Oct. 18-1974 was also at Burroughs (Blair). The game on Nov. 1-1974 was at COC. (Glendale). The game on Nov. 8-1974 was at Glendale (Hoover) It even has a short paragrah about Mike Harrington 6'0" 203 lbs. I don't know why I saved the football program for so long, but I found it again about 5 yrs. ago. thanks again for the great webb site, timothy j johnson class of 1975. I am listed at the hart alum site.

Regarding transfers and your need to become a Hart apologist for this travesty....don't forget Saugus Frosh MVP Troy Yudin, Mr. Dad.

You are correct. Yudin did play for Saugus as a freshman.

Then his family moved to Stevenson Ranch which was then part of the Hart attendance area (now part of West Ranch area).

If a family moves, I don't think anyone has too much of a quarrel with the decision to attend the "local" school unless there was "undue influence" of some sort.

I have never heard any suggestion whatsoever that anyone at Hart or associated with Hart played any role in the Yudin family's decision. I don't have any facts that would lead to the conclusion that football played any role in that decision but it may have and I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it did.

In short this transfer doesn't bother me in the least.

On the other hand, as I have noted elsewhere, when three Saugus players transferred from Saugus to Hart before the 1997 season without moving, pursuant to open enrollment, solely for the purpose of football (though, I again, I've never heard even the slightest suggestion of any impropriety by anyone at Hart) I do have a problem with it.

It think Brian Felt had 7 receptions with 204 yards (not 199) in the GV game on Nov 2...

I had him for 199 yards as does Maxpreps which -- I think -- gets its stats from the Hart coaching staff.

The paper may have had him for a little more. There are always little discrepancies on yardage because one often cannot decide which yardline the play starts and ends. The NCAA rule is that if the ball is completely beyond one yardline, it's listed on as being on the next one.

The Maxpreps stats on often a little off the mark on passing as well since, under NCAA stat-keeping rules, a spike does not count as a pass attributed to the QB but is counted as a "team" pass. PAT passes or runs don't count either.

Anyway, I'm sticking with my number on this one.

Hart Dad,

I just wanted to say hello and thank you for all the tremendous work you put into to this site. It's amazing that you compiled all of these notes and records of the many years of Hart Football. And while some may not appreciate it now, they will in the future! Thanks Again,

Teddy

Ted,

Thank you. Slowly but surely, I'm adding summaries for every game. I hope to eventually have summaries for all the games from '86 forward, that being when I started going to the games.

I, of course, saw every game in which you played, including all your JV games with the exception of the Hawaii trip, the only game I missed from 1990 until the 2001 playoffs.

Did you have any 200+ yard rushing games? If you did, I've missed them.
