So -- will things improve this year?

I've not had much time to check out the 2009 version of the Indians. My friends tell me that the coaches are very high on the possibilities on offense with a very good bunch of skill people looking very solid. The question is how the offensive line will pan out.

Not heard a lot about the defense.

Hello Hart Dad,

Just found your site and am really enjoying the read......
I wanted to add one stat:
3 Touchdowns in a game by Joe Aloisi, 1999 vs Quartz Hill.

Thanks for the info -- will add to the list. In recent weeks I've discovered a number of omissions on the receiving records.

Joe is on my list for 3 TDs in a game. Still have to get more info on career receiving records as it became pretty apparent to me awhile back that I'd left out some of the top career performers.

I started looking at the "streaks" and noticed that I had omitted Palmdale as one of the schools that Hart had a terrific streak against, broken last season.

Hart Dad, Do you have the 2009 rushing and receiving stats on your webpage?
How come Hart has not updated their maxpreps site for stats? Also, the link to the GV web page is now dead. The school has decided to link to the maxpreps website. Keep up the good work. GVgrizzlyfan

Don't know why the stats are not on maxpreps. I put Reyes' stats in my quarterback page (the coaching staff's numbers on att/com/yds may differ slightly) as I follow the NCAA guidelines, they don't.

If you look at the receiver's records page and you'll MacArthur and Borland in a couple of spots.

On receiving, I had Borland at 47 catches for 699 yards and 9 TDs.

MacArthur had 60 catches, 1096 yards and 11 TDs.

Stephens had 898 yards on 186 carries and 14 TDs. He also had 23 receptions for 277 yards and 2 TDs.

I've never kept track of return yards for a season but I have to think MacArthur would have a team record there. First, opponents scored a lot of points meaning they kicked off a lot to Hart. Second, for some reason, the vast majority of the returnable kicks (ie not a touchback or penalty) went to MacArthur. Third, he tended to get pretty good yardage every time.
