2010 -- Spring practice will soon be upon us

Some solid linemen on both sides of the ball. The prospective of an excellent group of line backers. A couple of very good returning D-backs. One big and sure-handed returning receiver and some others from the defensive side of the ball that will probably do double duty. So how do things shake out at QB and RB. We'll start to get an idea in the next few weeks.

Passing League will give a good indication of which of the two QBs will takeover. My money is on the shorter one. Quicker Decisions and Quicker Release

While the shorter kid (Waterman?) may have somewhat of an edge on the points you identify, there are slight. I'd go with the taller kid (Mays) not because he may be the better QB but because Waterman is a very good receiver and has the possibility of being a very good DB. The overall utility goes up because Mays, if not the starting QB probably has very little role (don't know if he has WR or DB possibilities as I can't recall he played in those spots as a JV.)

Coach H will choose the best athlete if history holds. Good that he has two capable kids to choose from.

What say ye Hart Dad. How does we look? Do we have a QB yet or 2? RBs?

My guess is Waterman. From what my kid says, Jeff attends all of the team meetings- even the defensive ones. He appears to be connected and listening.

Corey had flashes of brilliance but I think that Jeff may have more of the mental toughness to be the Hart QB. Whoever it is will be in a fishbowl.
